Due to several buildings and routes changes related with preparations for the World Cup and Olympic Games, as well as the growing number of vehicles, the Rio de Janeiro’s citizens constantly suffer with traffic jam. This project, called TweeTraffic, aims to use Twitter to predict traffic conditions, by mining the notifications provided by drivers and official sources.
